Jayce was selected in the 5th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the Texas Rangers out of Sandra Day O'Connor High School as a switch-hitting shortstop. Over the course of seven seasons in professional baseball (2018-2024), he competed at every level from Low-A to Triple-A. His deep understanding of the game allowed him to play every position in the infield and outfield. In 2021, Jayce led all of professional baseball with 71 stolen bases. Most recently, he served as the Offensive Coordinator for the Sandra Day O’Connor varsity baseball team, continuing his passion for teaching and developing players.
